Serbia will not sell the 5G telecommunications spectrum yet. The auction for the 5G frequency spectrum in Serbia is postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and will most likely be held in Q1 2021, the Ministry of Trade, Transport, and Telecommunications said yesterday. Assistant Minister Irina Reljin told Tanjug that mobile operators had been addressing the Ministry regarding the sale of the frequency spectrum for new services. Reljin said that the 4G network covered 98% of the population in Serbia, that most services could be covered with that technology.
