The minimum salary in Serbia in 2021 will be higher by 6.6%, reaching RSD 32,126, as announced after yesterday's meeting of the Social and Economic Council. Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali announced that the minimum salary, currently at RSD 30,000, would grow by around RSD 2,000. This is the final proposal of the Government of Serbia, because the members of the Socio-Economic Council (SES), i.e. the unions, employers and the state failed to agree on the amount of the minimum wage for 2021. Mali said the minimum hourly wage would go from RSD 172.5 to RSD 183.9. He said that the the pre-tax income will be raised from 16,300 to RSD 18,300 on January 1.
