The low level of Euribor is especially suitable for citizens who took housing loans indexed in euros, because it does not raise their loan installments. According to Secretary General of the Association of Serbian Banks Vladimir Vasic, in the next three or four years, the value of Euribor could remain very low. As Tanjug was previously told in the National Bank of Serbia, about 65 percent of the value of domestic loans is indexed in Serbia or approved in euros, and 43 percent of them are related to Euribor. They explained, however, that its movement will mostly depend on the policy of the European Central Bank and to what extent it will pursue an expansionary monetary policy.
