Construction work in Q4 2020
News clipping (1)In Q4 2020, the value of construction work done in Serbia declined by 10.4% at current prices and 8.9% at constant prices compared to Q4 2019, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS). Out of the total value of construction work done by Serbian contractors, 96% was performed in Serbia, while the rest was performed on building sites abroad. The total value of construction work done in Serbia and abroad in Q4 2020 fell by 9.4% at current and 7.9% at constant prices y-o-y, the RZS said. Observed by regions in Serbia, the value of construction work (at constant prices) in Q4 last year went up in the Belgrade Region (+4.4%) and Sumadija and Western Serbia (+3.0%). A y-o-y drop was reported in the Vojvodina Region (-19.2%) and Southern and Eastern Serbia (-27.9%), the RZS said.
